Camp Cole provides the perfect outdoor setting for young men to grow spiritually, build quorum brotherhood, and develop new skills. Activities include swimming and boating on Lake Sterling, shooting sports, COPE challenge course, mountain biking, hiking, team games, crafts, and more.

This year, young men from Monterey, North Sacramento, Sparks, Morgan Hill and Woodland Stakes will come together for this powerful experience. Whether you're testing your outdoor skills, challenging yourself with new activities, or strengthening your testimony during evening devotionals, you'll return home stronger in every way.

About Camp Cole

Camp Robert L. Cole sits on the south shore of Lake Sterling at 7,100 feet elevation in the Sierra Nevada, nestled among the evergreens and granite cliffs and offering an ideal setting for a wide variety of youth outdoor activities.

The camp is leased from PG&E and the National Forest Service by the Golden Empire Council of Scouting America, which schedules the facility for most of the summer. One week each year is reserved for use by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, during which several northern California and Nevada stakes join together for a multi-stake Aaronic Priesthood camp. In recent years this joint camp has grown to include five or more stakes, with approximately 200 young men and 70 adults in attendance. All other weeks at Camp Cole are operated through the Scouting America council.
